Free Linux Software Documentation (Online) - For Linux Distros

You can go to lots of Linux web sites and get free bits and pieces of Linux information on Linux commands and Linux concepts - and then try and put these pieces together to learn Linux.

However, this Linux info is often very poorly written, highly complex - and written by and for people who already know how to use Linux. It's often out-of-date, and sometimes just plain wrong!

Free Linux documentation is usually written by well-meaning individuals that have

no experience in communicating to people who are completely new to Linux. People who have no computer training experience whatsoever!

Often, free Linux training manuals are written by a programmer, or other technical person, who is already "there" - and already understands Linux - and so this free Linux training documentation is written from that perspective.

Linux Commands Training Tips: Even though it may say otherwise, most free Linux training documentation has been written from the perspective of someone who already understands how to use Linux - and has no idea how to build a solid foundation of Linux concepts and terms on which to build the framework for the understanding of Linux.

In these cases, you get overly complex Linux training materials from someone who, along the way to get "there" - has forgotten "how" to get "there" - and can't explain the steps that are missing!

As a result, vital basic Linux concepts are totally overlooked in these Linux training materials. This type of "free" Linux documentation often starts at an intermediate level - and gets more complex from there!

Linux Commands Training Tips: Most free online Linux documentation is terribly lacking in the simple Linux concepts and terms that are required for understanding how to use Linux. And there is no foundation of Linux concepts on which to build!
